Stitched Together with Kindness

Over the course of a month, something simple and meaningful took shape at Kempton of Rock Hill. Residents, family members, and team members came together for a community wide art project that celebrated one idea: kindness. Each participant received a colored paper square and the freedom to express what kindness means to them.

The results were thoughtful and creative. Some squares featured drawings, others shared heartfelt messages or favorite Bible verses. Phrases like plant seeds of kindness, be kind to yourself, and playful notes like be kind filled the collection with warmth.

Once completed, the squares were carefully pieced together and framed into a beautiful quilt. When it was unveiled, people were excited to find their own contribution. More than just art, the Kindness Quilt stands as a daily reminder that small acts and shared intentions can create something truly special, both within the community and beyond.
