Where Every Resident is a Champion

Residents at Kempton of Rock Hill recently had the chance to shine in ALympics, an exciting offshoot of Liberty Senior Games. Launched in 2018 by Liberty Senior Living for independent living communities, the Games encourage movement, mental engagement, and connection. This year, Liberty expanded the spirit of friendly competition with ALympics, created especially for assisted living residents. Kempton of Rock Hill residents were eager to jump in.

Nearly two dozen residents competed in a wide variety of events including Yarts, cornhole, puzzling, art, trivia, and more. Additional residents, including some from memory care, helped make decorations and came out to cheer. A closing ceremony and awards presentation was held, and residents watched Liberty’s corporate wide awards ceremony on Zoom.

ALympics was the perfect activity, showing that every resident can participate, feel included, and celebrate their strengths.
